OUR STANDARD – THE SCRIPTURES

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and declares His design and plan for mankind. 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21

GOD – BLESSED TRINTY

We believe there is only one true God who is revealed in three persons… Father, Son. Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14

MANKIND FELL

We believe, though originally good, mankind gave place to sin which ushered in death, both physical and spiritual into God’s created world.  Genesis 1:31, Genesis 3, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12

SALVATION

We believe that every person can be saved from the power and penalty of sin through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. John 3:16, Romans 10:9-13, Ephesians 2:8-9

WATER BAPTISM/HOLY COMMUNION

We believe and practice these two ordinances that Jesus gave to His church. Acts 8:36-38, Acts 2:41-42, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26

BAPTISM IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe this is a gift received by faith from God subsequent to salvation as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers. Matthew 3:11, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Acts 2:38-39

HEALING

We believe that divine healing is available today for mankind through the atoning work of Jesus Christ. (His sacrificial death on the cross) Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:16-17, Acts 10:38

SANCTIFICATION

We believe that growing in grace and the knowledge of the Lord is a process. Beginning at salvation and continuing throughout the Christian life. 1 Corinthians 1:30-31, 2 Peter 3:18

MARRIAGE

We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning and that is marriage sanctioned by God which is joining together of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive covenant as defined in the Bible. Genesis 1:26-27, Ephesians 5:28-33

ESCHATOLOGY (END TIME EVENTS)

We believe in the bodily, personal, second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the Saints, the Millennium, and the final judgment. The final judgment will ultimately reveal the eternal status (heaven or hell) of both saints and the unbelievers, determined by their relationship to Jesus Christ. We affirm with the Bible the final state of the New Heavens and New Earth. Matthew 24 & 25, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
